You're a 10!

Well.. fullerton is a 10, according to a website called "triple blaze."  On their list of 100 best places to hike in California, the "Fullerton Loop" hiking trail ranks at #10.

Hmm.. I kinda think thats sad!  Has anyone ever hiked it?!

ARE YOU GREEN?

SPEAKING OF NATURE, LETS DISCUSS GOING GREEN FOR A QUICK SECOND.

So, this is a trend, right?!  I think so.

At least the term "going green" is.  I'm finding that a lot of people don't really know what it means to "go green."  I'm not an enviro or a freak about conserving nature, however, I do strongly believe that major environmental change (possibly destruction) is ahead if we're not careful.

With that said, I'm not even exactly sure where I stand on this issue.   I believe that ultimately, there is a God who will control the fate of our earth.  If we know that our actions are contributing to worsening the situation, then we need to do what we can to change it.  Thats my thought.  More to come later.

Yet another MIS-adventure

I went hiking a couple weeks ago with my dad in Laguna Beach.  This time, we hiked Laguna Canyon, just off the 133.

While it was a very nice, breezy stroll, it reminded me of two things:  I need new shoes, and I need a GPS or a navigator.  Without these items, we ended up going around in two circles (and asking for directions, which is not something we do in our family) and I was left with a very badly bruised toe.

Needless to say, make sure your shoes fit PERFECTLY when attempting to hike for over 3 hours. And definitely don't be so in depth in a story that you pass your "left turn" marker twice!

Overall, the hike was pleasant.  If you're looking for an easy adventure, try this hike at the "Laguna Wilderness Park" just off the 133 and El Toro Rd.
